The Blog of Jacki Louise

When I first heard the word “blog”, I didn’t even know what it was – nor did I care.

Later, when I discovered its meaning (“you mean, it’s just regular people writing whatever they want?”), I thought it was a waste of time.  I mean, who cares? Is anyone reading this stuff?

But as I slowly learned just how significant blogging has become, my mind changed. Blogging is part of our society now and it’s here to stay. So, of course, I thought about blogging myself. I’ve always loved to write and felt I was, at least, pretty good at it. Why not? Like the billion other people on the Web posting things every second, I have something to say.

My blog’s goal is to share my original photographs and stories.  I may also share what I’ve learned, witnessed, and have an opinion AND wonder about, and maybe get answers from readers. Please note: 99% of the photos you see on this blog were taken by me. The ones that are not my work have been labeled accordingly.

I will always welcome feedback. However, I won’t accept degrading and insulting comments.

Ok, enough with the monologue. Let’s “get to talking”.  🙂
